Psychiatry-UK was recommended to me by my GP after over a decade and a half of being passed from service to service on the NHS, being diagnosed with various mental health problems, but seeing no improvement in my quality of life. The entire process was very easy, simple and quick and I had my first consultation less than a week later. Eventually, through the service, I was diagnosed with ASD and ADHD, both of which have extensive waiting lists on the NHS. My quality of life has since improved immeasurably. I saw two consultants - Dr Joiner and Dr Ghetau - and they were both professional, understanding, respectful and took what I said on board. Furthermore, other staff, especially Jo Tierney, whom I was in a lot of contact with, with my queries, were amazing and always helpful and quick in their replies. I 100% recommend Psychiatry-UK, especially if other avenues have already been explored. I was getting very close to losing hope and resignation but I feel like my entire life has turned around.
